Joanne is the heart and soul of The Mountain Living Team. The mountains bewitch all who come here, and many decide to stay. Joanne Hanson is one of those people. Born in New Zealand to a family that immigrated to the United States in 1961, Joanne spent 20 years in the Kansas City area before being transferred to Colorado in 1986. She learned to ski and fell in love with the landscape and the lifestyle. She and her husband bought a condo in Wildernest and spent every extra minute they had there and on the ski slopes. When her long-time employer offered her a ´golden parachute¡ during a company reorganization, she took it and moved to the mountains full time. Joanne came into the real estate field with a strong work ethic and well developed people and negotiation skills. She believes that continuing education leads to success, and, as a result, is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a designation which less than 5% of all Realtors have achieved. She is a certified e-Pro Internet Professional.
